The good news is that after 5 1/2 hours in the car by myself (which I HATE), I have made it to Jekyll Island. I am currently resting comfortably on my bed in our cottage. Very nice!
Tomorrow I am second shooting a wedding here with Scarlett....it should be a lot of fun. Tonight I met the couple - Stacy and Ted - they are so nice! I can already tell that tomorrow will be a great day.
Yes, there was a cow in uptown Charlotte, it's true. Really I have no idea why, but I didn't ask questions. He was a sweet old cow.
The cowboy.
One of my classmates.
Another classmate (she said she hates this picture of herself, but I beg to differ...I think she looks pretty dang cute!).
P.S. I had to use the old blog frame on these - I think I may have deleted my action for the new one and I don't have my photoshop genius here with me.....miss you, baby! MUAH!
Other news to report - this past Wednesday was my final class at the Light Factory. I am SO glad I took this class...I really did learn a ton. Although I gotta tell ya - I'm glad to be getting my Wednesday evenings back - I need them to edit!
Anyway, here are some shots I took during one of our classes while shooting uptown.

I love the shot from under the table. What an interesting point of view. I also really like the red & yellow tulips with the city buzzing in the background.
