One Week and a Day....

we'll be in the BAHAMAS! Not only are we totally excited to go just because it is fabulous and tropical, but because we get to shoot a wedding. And, it's not just ANY wedding - it's MARY'S wedding!

Mary and I were sorority sisters at the University of Redlands in southern California - I was a second semster sophomore when she joined as a freshman. During my senior year (her junior) she (and three other sorority sisters - Megan, Andrea, and Lexi....who will also be at the wedding!) lived directly across from my apartment...you can bet it was good times - I have plenty of video to prove it!

Okay, so I would be lying if I said I wasn't just a tad freaked out at how we are getting there. Not only are we flying to Ft. Lauderdale (we all know how much I adore flying), but then get to take a teeny tiny plane over to Cat Cay Bahamas....THIS is the plane (photo compliments of Mary and Niall's wedding website):

Basically, I will be lucky if I make it onto the island without passing out from hyperventilation. Oh hell - pray for me. :)

Other news - we got a new stylish bag to keep all of our gear. I've heard great things about the thinktank - I'm excited to get all of our stuff in it and see how it works for us. I told Geoff it is his job to set up all of the little cubbie holes to make everything fit - I've never been one to get excited about putting things together.

We got the mid-sized one - it's called "Airport International".
