Have You Emailed Me?

Well, crap.

So, it seems my website/email is on the fritz and has decided to stop working for some reason. Two or so weeks ago we switched who we host with, so I'm thinking something didn't transfer right. GRRRRR.

We're going to get to the bottom of it ASAP, but if you've sent me an email or inquired through the contact form on my website in the last two weeks and haven't heard back from me, please send me an email to Cheyenne.Schultz@gmail.com

(Just so we're clear.....when I say that "we're" going to get to the bottom of it, I really mean that this hot, smart guy I know pictured below is going to take care of it...thank goodness for him because I understand basically nothing about hosting and ftp's and server stuff).

Andrea and Shawn - Engaged - Charlotte Wedding Photographer

Andrea and Shawn.....I like these two. They are getting married this October at the Vanlandingham Estate - can't wait!

Let me tell you about Shawn - he is good guy - exhibit A....these photos. Half-way through our shoot I deemed Shawn an awesome nuzzler....you can just tell how much he adores Andrea. :)

Exhibit B - their engagement story. Get this....out of no where - on what seemed like any ordinary day, Andrea's friend tricked her with a story about needing to pick someone up from the airport when IN FACT, she was dropping HER off at the airport. Shawn had made all the arrangements (including packing her suitcase) for the two of them to fly to Italy where he proposed. Ummmmmmmm....awesome. Yeah. For real.

LOVE IT.

Was super excited to find this wall - the lines make me as happy as chocolate does...almost.

Blue dumpsters....my favorite.

Like her hair and makeup? I do. A lot.

Who do you think did her hair/makeup? None other then Kymm of Who's the Fairest.

Make your eyes hurt a little? Me too.....but I still love it.

Those shoes are way too freaking cute.

See you guys SOON! :)

Meet Jazzy

May 23, 2009 was one of the few non-wedding Saturday's that we had this wedding season - it was the day that set in motion another life decision.....dog #2.

On that particular day, I was poking around Petfinder when I saw her. A norfolk terrier - she was the sweetest, cutest little thing I had ever seen. I must have watched her "promo video" 20 times by the end of the day....I was in love. But when I contacted the shelter to arrange a time to meet sweet Dorothy, I got an email response informing me that she had already been adopted. Ohhhhh....my heart was crushed.

We were, however, invited to check out the other dogs available at the shelter. After returning to Petfinder, we soon saw Jazzy, who looked so much like Ellen we HAD to at least check her out. A few days later, we came home with our second dog.

I'm not going to lie - I cried the first few days she was here. She managed to pee in our bed, go to the bathroom on the white carpet AFTER I had already taken her out, and eat the tongue out of Geoff's dress shoe. Lucky for Jazzy, she gradually grew on me....and now I love her to pieces.

Can you tell them apart? :)

You can also see her in this fun little video Geoff created with the 5D Mark II a few weeks ago when our friend Luke was visiting. And I know....I look less than thrilled in most of it. I'll be more exciting next time. :)

Another Massive Sneak Peek

It's that time again - time for a super huge sneak peek of what's to come in the next few weeks (plus a couple of bridal portraits that I can't show you just quite yet). Good stuff, people....good stuff. :)

Keri and Ben: Married - Morehead Inn

Keri and Ben were married at the Morehead Inn on Friday, June 12th. Having never shot at the Morehead Inn, Geoff and I were extra excited to shoot this wedding. And, the venue did not disappoint. The facility is gorgeous and the staff is super friendly. If you are location hunting, be sure to check out this awesome space.

Keri got her dress at Dar-Lynn's here in Charlotte.

Ben and the guys were pretty much already ready when we arrived, so Geoff got right to their pics.

I love this tie.

Flowers by one of my favorites - Carolyn Shepard Design Group.

Crazy pretty, right?

We were thankful for the sunshine during pre-ceremony pictures, but then of course, it began to pour about 30 minutes prior to the ceremony (which was to be held outside). Lucky us....it quit just in time to dry off the chairs and get married!

Grabbed this quick shot of Ben waiting upstairs.

This little guy was milling around trying to get some love from wedding guests prior to the ceremony starting.

One of my all time favorite ceremony shots - love this moment.

In between dancing (music by DJ All the Right Grooves), the photobooth provided by Carolina Photo Booths was a big hit.

AWESOME cakes by Cake Lady Jill.

There are no words.

Congratulations Keri and Ben! :)
