On that particular day, I was poking around Petfinder when I saw her. A norfolk terrier - she was the sweetest, cutest little thing I had ever seen. I must have watched her "promo video" 20 times by the end of the day....I was in love. But when I contacted the shelter to arrange a time to meet sweet Dorothy, I got an email response informing me that she had already been adopted. Ohhhhh....my heart was crushed.
We were, however, invited to check out the other dogs available at the shelter. After returning to Petfinder, we soon saw Jazzy, who looked so much like Ellen we HAD to at least check her out. A few days later, we came home with our second dog.
I'm not going to lie - I cried the first few days she was here. She managed to pee in our bed, go to the bathroom on the white carpet AFTER I had already taken her out, and eat the tongue out of Geoff's dress shoe. Lucky for Jazzy, she gradually grew on me....and now I love her to pieces.
Can you tell them apart? :)
You can also see her in this fun little video Geoff created with the 5D Mark II a few weeks ago when our friend Luke was visiting. And I know....I look less than thrilled in most of it. I'll be more exciting next time. :)
