#2 - Xcaret!
My gut was telling me to go with this one from the beginning, so the 37 votes that it got helped me to solidify the decision. Thanks to everyone who voted!!
P.S. For those who were asking, this shot was taken at Xcaret in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico this past June. Geoff and I had taken a day trip from Cancun, where we were honeymooning. To see more from this trip, check these out.

Help me choose!
The college I work at is hosting an Open Photography Exhibition in one of the galleries on campus. I'm thinking of submitting a piece, just for fun. Those in charge of the show are pure evil - I am only allowed one submission! Problem is....I can't decide which one.
This is where YOU come in.....I've narrowed it down to the three images below. Leave me a comment (click "comments" right below this post) with your vote of which I should enter. There's no special theme to the exhibition, so anything goes.
Thanks so much for your help on this...I'm so indecisive! :)

My new sister!
As of this past Saturday, I have a new sister-in-law...Jessica! That's right - my brother, Joe, got married. Geoff and I flew home to California for the weekend for the wedding. It was a really quick trip, but still great to be home.
Joe and Jess were supposed to have the ceremony outside, but we woke up to grey skies, which eventually turned to rain. Still, the space they used for the ceremony was awesome - we could hear the rain on the roof as they said their vows, which was very romantic.
We were missing three siblings at the wedding - 1) brother Brandon had a football game (at which he got a touchdown and then split his forehead open and had to get stitches) and 2) sister-in-law Khadijah had just had my new niece a few days before! 3) brother Ryan is over on this side of the country in Kentucky, so he couldn't make it. We missed you all!
Congratulations, Joe and Jessica. Geoff and I love you dearly. May your life together as one be blessed greatly.

The Morrison Family
Jason, Laura, Connor (3 years), Neil (1 year), and Bella the Dog make up the Morrison Family. When we first started shooting, Laura described little Neil as "the serious one". He definitely was that, but we still managed to get a couple smiles out of him.
Connor, on the other hand, was such a ham! He LOVED having his picture taken and never hestitated to flash us that big grin of his.
Here's a few that Geoff got:
Thanks to the Morrison family for allowing Geoff and I to shoot their family portraits!

Sara's Bridal Portraits
Now that Sara is a married woman, I can post her beautiful bridal portraits!
Sara and Erick were married this past Saturday evening in Lugoff, South Carolina (close to Columbia). Of course I cry at every wedding, but this one pierced my heart (in a good way) even more than usual. These two are the best - so genuine, so sweet....so perfect for each other. The ceremony was so touching - my favorite moment being when Erick saw Sarah at the end of the aisle walking toward him....the look on his face was priceless.
Congrats you two....I hope you are enjoying your surprise location honeymoon. I heard it's somewhere with turtles - that's all I know! :)
