Reida and Brandon: Married - The Pewter Rose

Brandon and Reida were married here in Charlotte at Belk Chapel and had their reception at the Pewter Rose.

As mentioned in their engagement post, I find this couple absolutely hilarious. Seriously, when they are together, I can't help but smile and laugh.

And per usual, I can't decide - which shoe shot do you like better?

With some time to kill, Brandon hopped on the piano.

Hello pretty lady!

I think Geoff rocked these shots of Brandon.

The Pewter Rose is a great little space for a reception - it's actually a restaurant, but can be rented out for weddings. There's just so much character inside - I love it.

Brandon's brother gave the toast - it was just as sweet as can be.

As a special surprise to their guests, Brandon rocked it out as the DJ for part of the reception. He was SO good! Everyone loved it.

Congratulations, Reida and Brandon! You guys are the best and we can't wait to hang out!

Catalyst Conference 2008

As promised, here's a bunch of shots I got from the Catalyst Conference in Atlanta, Georgia last week.

This guy cracked us up - we spotted him on our way in on the first day.

12,000 people - it was crazy!

Elevation REPRESENT! :)

The worship was awesome - Steve Fee kicked it off and totally rocked it.

Love this shot of Chris Brown.

The speaker line-up was great....

Jim Collins - author of Good to Great and Built to Last.

Seth Godin - marketing genius and author of The Purple Cow.

Craig Groeschel - Senior Pastor from LifeChurch.tv

As great as the above speakers were, in my humble opinion, none could top our Pastor - Steven Furtick.

Here he is with Chunks prior to stepping on stage to speak.

As mentioned, as soon as he hit the floor, the crowd erupted...and it was awesome. Right after hugging his wife - Holly - over came pastor of Newspring Church...Perry Noble. I was excited to get this shot, as I went to Newspring while working at Clemson. It's funny, as I never thought I would have found another church that could compare to Newspring - until we discovered Elevation.

There was also a lot of entertainment in between speakers.

Apparently this guy is Robert Muraine - popper from "So You Think You Can Dance".

And Switchfoot performed...

To end - I thought this was a cool shot of pastor speaking and had fun with some textures in the post-processing.
