Kate and Jason: Sneak Peek

Here's a sneak peek from Jason and Kate's engagement session yesterday evening. Typically, I dig on symmetry like is in the first shot. However, I was feelin' a little daring this morning while waiting for our cinnamon rolls to get out of the oven...so I thought, 'what the hay'....and did some cropping. And, as it turns out, I think I'm diggin' on the cropped version more. What about you? Which do you prefer?

I'm with you on the cropped version! I love the blur of the skateboarders!

can't wait to see the rest of these. does either of them skate?

cropped is cool but as engagement photos i prefer the centered one because the skaters are smaller then and the couple seem more like the focal point. as i see it. i realize it's the same proportion wise but still.

super cool.

I agree with Kristy, i love both, but I would enlarge and frame the top one before I did the second one.

You are AWESOME!!!

i always like your symmetrical images, this one included. that might be because i rarely shoot like that, so seeing something different is refreshing. ok, next shoot, i will go there.

I think the cropped version speaks volumes!!!

Of course, the original would make a great backdrop, faded out, for an album.
