More to Follow!

So yeah - I'm a little overwhelmed with all things life right now. Have been shooting my butt off and am severely failing at keeping up with my emailing and editing. But I'm trying, people - I'm trying real hard. :)

Here's a quick shot of a bridal I shot yesterday.

Lauren: No Holds Bridal

Lauren is a total wild child - when you're with her, you never ever ever know what she's going to do or say next. Seriously, you're always in for a good time when you are around her - she certainly keeps life interesting.

As mentioned in Maryann's post, I had been so looking forward to this shoot once they told me they were interested. I was almost as excited for this shoot as I was to shoot Lauren's wedding back in July 2007....because her wedding was THE first wedding I ever shot. If you dare, you can check it out HERE.

After our shoot I told Lauren that I thought she had some untapped gifts - modeling being one of them (singing is another one, but we won't get into that). See for yourself - she's gorgeous.

Love you girls!

Maryann: No Holds Bridal

That shot above is killing me - Maryann looks SO FREAKING HOT, right?!

"No Holds Bridal" is my version of the popular trend "Trash the Dress". Maryann and Lauren are already married, but wanted a chance to put their dresses back on for a photo shoot without worrying about getting them dirty.

When these two told me they wanted to come up to Charlotte from Anderson, SC to do a shoot, I was beyond thrilled. Since we were going to do them on the same day, I enlisted help from my good friend Candice of The Beautiful Mess.

Having done their boudoir sessions for their husbands the day before the shoot, they were ready to bring it....and they SO did. We started the day with hair and makeup by the amazingly talented (and sweet as they come) Kymm from Who's the Fairest. I actually stepped out to run a few errands while they got dolled up and when I called to check on them, Maryann says to me, "I haven't even gotten my hair and makeup done yet and I am having THE best time."

Maryann is such a country girl. So it seemed only appropriate that we spend some time shooting in some fields and around a barn. Lucky for us, I had recently been told about a cool barn-like structure really close to our other locations. I like to call it "The Urban Barn". And you wouldn't believe the light we had to work with.....every couple frames I would shout at her, "oh my GOSH...you are SO going to love these!"

Alright - enough chatter...her she is - the beautiful Maryann.

Can someone out there PLEASE book this place to have their reception and then hire me to shoot it? Thanks a bunch. :) But seriously - this place is available for rent. I think it would be a great space for country wedding in an urban part of Charlotte - with a great wedding planner, I know this place could look phenomenal. Shoot me an email if you are a bride looking for a reception site and would like the contact information for it! cheyenne@cheyenneschultz.com

No Holds Bridal x 2: Sneak Peek

The past couple of days have been FULL of some super fun shooting. Maryann and Lauren came down from Anderson, SC to first have me shoot boudoir photos for their husbands on Sunday and then yesterday we hit up some fun spots to do a DOUBLE trash the dress.

Because I know they are dying to share a few with friends and family, how could I deprive them? Plus, it is Maryann's birthday today!

Enjoy and keep your eyes peeled for more from these two. :) Aren't they RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous???!!!

And P.S. - the hair and makeup? Kymm McLean of "Who's the Fairest" seriously rocked it out!

Introducing....No Holds Bridal

It's official! We're now offering these fun sessions for brides after their wedding day...we're calling them "No Holds Bridal" meaning there are no rules, no restraints, no limits to what we can create - the sky is the limit (similar to the popular trend "Trash the Dress"). I really do enjoy shooting bridal portraits, but find that we are often held back in the shoot for fear of getting the dress dirty. "No Holds Bridal" sessions are the perfect solution. So, if you're wanting to put that dress back on and get glamorized for a day, shoot me an email to schedule a session for the spring - cheyenne@cheyenneschultz.com

Tiffany was actually married in July 2007 and has been looking forward to our shoot for some time now. We definitely lucked out on weather before it got too cold! Hair and makeup done by the awesome Kymm from Who's the Fairest. If you are getting married and don't yet have someone to beautify you on your wedding day, you should book Kymm ASAP!

After Tiffany's session, we pulled her husband Scott in for a mini "Mr. and Mrs. session (day-after session). Don't they look totally hot?

I love how he's checking her out here. :)
