Because the past couple of months have been so busy with editing and blogging shoots and weddings, I haven't really taken any time to blog anything else. With that said, it's time for a back track....to March.
When we first started our business I quickly became aware of the vast number of workshops for photographers that exist out there. Knowing I wanted to attend one of these workshops was easy, as it was one of my goals for 2009. Deciding which to attend was more difficult. However, when I first found out about
The Blend Workshop, I jumped at the opportunity. Before I knew it, I was on a plane to Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The Blend was split into three days with four different photographers -
Jose Villa,
Jesh de Rox, and Nate and Jacyln Kaiser of
The Image is Found.
I actually didn't shoot very much while I was there, but thought I'd share what I have. Our group's first day was with Jose Villa - after lunch we all headed out for a shoot with our models who happen to be the VERY nice and VERY talented photographers
Jeremy and Ashley Parsons. These two were actually two of my three roommates - I wish they lived here in Charlotte and that Geoff could meet them!
Here is Jose Villa starting things off -

Each of us have five minutes with Jeremy and Ashley to bring the magic.....while everyone else from our group watched - talk about pressure! :)

Not exactly in focus, but a favorite nonetheless. :)

And here is #3 of my three roommates -
Bobbi! I bet she LOVES me for this photograph of her. :)

Another friend -
Cristy Cross.

Back Track: My and Ellen's Birthday coming soon. :)
